The Danzig Highflyer is a breed of domestic pigeon from Poland. He was bred in Poland and has been developed over many years of selective breeding.
This breed and other varieties of domestic pigeons are descendants of the feral or feral pigeon.
The breed is believed to have originated in the vicinity of Danzig (now Gdansk) in 1807. Other sources point to the former province of Galicia-Poland.
