Big white pig: characteristics, origin and breed information

The Great White Pig is a breed of domestic pig originating in Yorkshire. It is also known as Yorkshire Pig and horizontal distribution big english white pig.

It is one of the most popular and numerous pig breeds and is widely used in crossbreeding for intensive pig production systems around the world. As the name suggests, the breed is very large in size and pure white in color.

Characteristics of the big white pig

As its name suggests, the big white pig is large in size and pure white in color. It has white or pink skin, a domed face, and pink-colored erect ears.
