Characteristics of Alambadi Cattle

Alambadi cattle are medium sized and gray, dark gray or black in color. Some other colors are also available in some regions. This cattle breed has white markings on the forehead, limbs and tail. Their head is narrow and their horns are curved backwards.

Advantages

Alambadi cattle are an almost exclusively dry breed. In India, the breed is bred primarily for towing and plowing. They are not good milkers and are rarely used in dairy farming.
