The Texas Longhorn is an exceptional breed of cattle used primarily for meat production. The breed is best known for its very long horns. Their horns are unusual, like those of most other cattle breeds.
Horns of Texas Longhorn cattle can reach over 6.9 feet (2.1 m) from tip to tip for exceptional steers and cows and up to 5.9 feet (1.8 m) from tip to tip. cone for bulls.
They have been an integral part of life in Texas since the first missions established by the Spaniards upon their arrival. These early settlers brought with them hardy and resilient livestock.

Characteristics of Texas Longhorn Cattle
Texas Longhorn cattle are relatively smaller animals. This breed shares characteristics and appearance with many Criollo breeds from all over the Americas, which descend from the same roots.
Their coat color varies, with beautiful speckled skin as often as solids. Texas Longhorn cattle vary, and both bulls and cows have long, curvy horns.
