The half-wool Armenian sheep is a breed of domestic sheep. As the name suggests, the breed originated in Armenia. It is also known as Armyanskaya Polugrubosherstnaya in Russian.
Today, the breed is mainly found in Armenia. It is a medium-haired breed with a thick tail. And today, half-wool Armenian sheep are bred as a dual-purpose animal and are currently bred for milk and meat production.

Characteristics of the Armenian half-wool sheep
Armenian semicircular wool sheep are medium to large sized animals. They are mostly white in color with a white face. Usually rams and ewes are polled.
The average height for an adult sheep is about 26 inches at the withers and about 29 inches for a ram.
