Goats usually remain pregnant for about 5 months and their average gestation or gestation period is 150 days for each pregnancy. While for some women it can take up to 155 days, some have also been in labor for 142 days.
For example, if your wife becomes pregnant on September 7 of this year, she should give birth to new children around February 1 of the following year. It’s really hard to tell the exact day your female will give birth, but it should take around 150 days.

Early pregnancy

During pregnancy

Naturally, goats come into heat in early winter and late summer. Goats generally come into heat on average every 21 days from July to December.
The estrus period in goats is very short and lasts from 24 to 36 hours. Usually, estrus occurs the day before the start of a new reproductive cycle.
